Location
Now, for the convenience of our readers you should know that Yas Island comes on the very East end of Abu Dhabi.
If you plan on driving down from Dubai then it would probably be the first thing you see. It is pretty near to the airport and about half an hour from Abu Dhabi center and the Corniche.
Yas Marina Circuit
The F1 Marina Circuit is the most important and has some event planned almost every day. With the Grand Prix being held every November and started in the year of 2009, it is the most sought after event in the Middle East.

Yas Mall
This is a humongous mall which started in the year of 2014. It’s about half a million Sq. Ft in area with over 370 shops and is larger than the Mall of Emirates which is another popular Mall in Dubai.
The best part about this mall is that unlike other places it is never very crowded; hence serious shoppers would find this a paradise. This mall has all the big brands, Ikea, Vox cinemas and so much more.

Lots of Entertainment waiting at yas island
1.Ferrari World – This is an indoor theme park (86000 Sq. m) which is based on Ferraris. Consistently for the last four years this place has been voted as the top tourist attraction in the Middle East.
There are several rides and games which revolve around the theme. For Ferrari enthusiasts this is a heaven.
2.Warner Bros. World – It is a billion dollar indoor theme park based on Warner Brother characters and super heroes like Superman, Batman, Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo and so on.
They have games, rides and shops where you can buy curios based on these characters.
3.Yas Waterworld – This is a water/aqua park with all the expected wave pools/slides and is one of the best water playgrounds that kids and adults would love to spend some time in.
4.Yas Links – This is for the golf aficionados. The Links has a beautiful golf course, the first of its kind in the Middle East.
Hotels –
There are also several hotels in the campus with Yas hotel (run by The Marriot group) being the most popular choice mainly as it spans the F1 track.
It is the center of attraction during the Grand Prix. Across this hotel is Yas Plaza which houses another seven hotels with the likes of Crowne Plaza, Radisson and so on.

Yas Bay is a water front residential plan which is under construction. It also has several hotels, retail and an 18000 seat indoor air conditioned stadium under works.
In 2020 the worlds widest vertical climb chamber and the world’s tallest indoor climbing wall of 43m in height is also under works namely the – Clymb.
For convenience of tourists there are several free shuttle buses which cover several routes and all the attractions. With so much to do and see, you should definitely include Yas Island in your bucket list.
