The Dubai Museum came into existence in the year 1971, which was fabricated in the Al Fahidi Fort. The museum is touted to be one of the oldest buildings of Dubai.
The ultimate aim of the museum was to represent the conventional form of life that existed in the UAE. We were aware that the artifacts from African and Asian countries are all finely displayed in the museum.
But, unable to suppress the curiosity of a child in me, I decided on visiting the Dubai Museum, which had got my interest all piqued up.

Timings of the Museum
The Dubai Museum timings are the same for all the days of the week that is from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. However, on Fridays, the gates of the museum open at 2:30 pm and closes at 8:30 pm.
Ticket Fee
The Dubai Museum ticket fee for adults is AED 3 and for the children below 6 years of age is AED 1. You can purchase the tickets for visiting the museum while you are buying the entry tickets to the Al Fahidi Fort.

The Dubai Museum nearest metro station is the Al Fahidi metro station, which is situated on the Green Line, Zone 5. I took the nearest metro from the place that I was staying in and bought a ticket to the Al Fahidi metro station. Within a few minutes of walk, I was able to locate the Dubai museum.
