For new passports as well as passport renewals, applicants must request services online through their websites.
Saudi Arabia is the third country to implement passport seva services after the United States and the United Kingdom.
Previously, Indian expatriates need to approach VFS centers Under Embassy and consulate directly to use the services. It is obligatory to submit an application online according to the new system.
In order to obtain services, applicants must visit the seva passport website. Go to registration and get username and password. This credential can later be used to obtain a complete set of services under Passport Seva.
The applicant must take a printout after completing the application. Then attach a photo and submit it to the nearest VFS centre.
