There are two category of professional grades used for classifying technicians under Saudi Commission for health specialities.

1.Health assistant(eg:nursing assistant)

2.Health technician(eg:nursing technician)

Who can apply for health assistant classification(nursing assistant)?

Those practitioners who completed health diploma of duration after their High School education.

Health assistant course from a government body accredited by SCFHS

plus fulfill classification requirements.

Who can apply for health technician(nurse technician)?

Those candidates completed their bachelor’s degree but doesn’t have the experience to qualify for a grade of specialist.

Completed Health diploma of 2 years after High School

Successfully completed certificate technician course from a government authority accredited by SCFHS and completed other classification requirements.
