Are you a dental professional looking to work in Saudi Arabia? In order to practice as a dentist in Saudi Arabia you need to take Saudi dental licensure examination(SDLE).
What is the pattern of Saudi prometric dental exam?
The test consists of 300 multiple choice questions with 6 hour duration. It is divided into three sections of 100 questions each with time allocation of 120 minutes.
There will be two scheduled breaks between sections with a pool of total time 45 minutes which can be divided between these breaks based on the the candidate preference.
The questions will be multiple choice type you need to choose the best one out of 4.

The examination will test knowledge of the candidates along with skills like interpretation, analysis, decision making, reasoning and problem solving.
Eligibility requirements for Saudi prometric for dentists
You must have recognised primary degree in bachelor of Dental Sciences or equivalent from a recognised University along with required experiences.
How to apply for SDLE?
In order to schedule exam in Prometric website you need to get eligibility number from the Saudi Commission for health specialities(via mumaris plus portal)
Following are the steps:
1. Dataflow
You need to do dataflow of your primary degree as well as experience certificate, later you will get primary source verification report from dataflow company.
2.Create Mumaris Plus account
You need to make account in mumaris plus portal, and start classification pathway.

3.Do classification pathway
You need to go through classification pathway and upload required documents.
4.Get eligibility number
After verifying all your documents scfhs will issue eligibility number which you can use for scheduling your examination.it can take up to 6 weeks.
5.Visit Prometric website
Using eligibility ID schedule your examination date by choosing your nearest location. There are lot of international centres are there for Prometric group.
6.Passing your examination
Once you pass prometric examination you will get a certificate with in 2-6 weeks.
7.Finish classification pathway
Soon after finishing classification pathway you will get “classification certificate” from scfhs.
8.Registration with SCFHS
This is the final step in Saudi licensing procedure. You need to find a job and transfer your sponsorship into a facility, latest start registration pathway.
At the end you will get “classification and registration certificate” from the Saudi Commission for health specialities.
