The much-awaited Red Sea International Film festival has come to the news of being postponed for its inaugural edition due to coronavirus spread fear. This inaugural was scheduled to run on March 12 to 21 at Al Balad, Historic Jeddah.
It is saddening news and for us, a very tough decision to postpone the inaugural edition for cineastes. It is indeed a battle to face & defeat the coronavirus, which all around the globe is taking serious concern for. We aim to respect the measure taken by Saudi Arabia and to meet the health emergency of the localities with the utmost care, “the organisers said”.
